If you are 100 pounds or more over your ideal body weight, you may be a candidate for weight loss surgery. The Virginia Weight Loss Surgery Center offers minimally invasive techniques for weight loss surgery, including laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, laparoscopic gastric banding (LAP-BAND® and REALIZE™ BAND), and sleeve gastrectomy and revisional bariatric surgery including StomaphyX(natural orifice surgery). More than 300 operations are performed each year with excellent outcomes. Expert help is available for insurance pre-approval.
